The Steam Awards, sebuah event penghargaan dari Valve yang baru debut pada Steam autumn sale akhirnya dapatkan nominasi-nominasi resminya.
Nominasi-nominasi ini didapatkan dari hasil voting para komunitas Steam saat autumn sale kemarin. 7 nominasi diantaranya datang dari Valve, dan 3 dibuat bebas oleh komunitas Steam itu sendiri. Valve ungkap bahwa ada sekitar 15 juta nominasi yang telah diajukan oleh komunitas Steam.

Voting dari Steam Awards ini akan dimulai dari tanggal 22 Desember sampai 30 Desember Nanti nanti dan akan dimulai dari nominasi “Villain Most in Need of A Hug”. Setiap harinya akan berbeda nominasi apa yang akan dimintai dukungan pengguna Steam.
