Banyak game yang memenangkannya.
Penghargaan video game tak hanya terjadi di Game Awards buatan Geoff Keighley, namun juga beberapa acara lain yang sifatnya lebih tertutup. Salah satu yang mengikutinya adalah penghargaan yang dilaksanakan oleh International Game Developer Association atau IGDA.
Melalui website resmi IGDA, terdapat 39 kategori penghargaan yang mereka siapkan dalam acara pertamanya tersebut. Sementara terdapat sembilan penghargaan dari 2D animation, 2D character design, UI art, voice acting, system design, UI/UX, dialogue, narrative design, dan representation.
