Gears Tactics akan dirilis bulan depan dan berbeda dengan seri-seri sebelumnya yang merupakan game third-person shooter dengan fokus mekanik cover, game satu ini akan usung gameplay strategi layaknya XCOM.
Dikembangkan oleh Splash Damage, developer ingin game dapat dijalankan di PC terbaru dan juga laptop. Meskipun demikian untuk pengguna laptop masih harus miliki hardware yang tinggi untuk dapat jalankan game, tetapi dibandingkan dengan beberapa game Gears sebelumnya, game ini miliki spesifikasi jauh lebih rendah. Pada game ini kamu bermain sebagai Gabe Diaz. Kamu akan merekrut pasukan, kustomisasi mereka dan memberi perintah kepada mereka saat dalam misi. Yang membedakan game ini dengan seri XCOM ialah jalan cerita yang akan lebih fokus pada karakter dan gameplay yang lebih agresif.
Gears Tactics akan dirilis untuk PC pada 28 April mendatang. Game akan dirilis lewat Steam serta tersedia di Xbox Game Pass.
