Dirayakan pada 12 Februari mendatang, Penghargaan tahunan DICE ke-23 umumkan nominasi-nominasi game terbaik sepanjang tahun 2019 lalu. Meski dengan resepsinya yang campur aduk oleh kritikus dan juga gamer, Death Stranding kembali mendominasi banyak nominasi. Diluar dari game buatan Kojima Productions tersebut, Control menjadi game lainnya dengan nominasi terbanyak disusul dengan Untitled Goose Game dan juga Disco Elysium.
