Social Video Lead / Project Manager (Fulltime, Jogjakarta)

About the role: The senior social video lead / project manager for Gamebrott.com is a passionate gamer. You are somebody who knows the difference between an FPS and an MMORPG and you love eSports. You know there are differences between making a video for Youtube, Facebook and Twitch and other social platforms. You will lead at least two in-house video editors and help grow the team. You will communicate with other social video leads / project managers across the region to coordinate production and facilitate content that can be produced and localized for our sister sites. You will play a major role in defining the scope and tone of the video content for Indonesia and the region. You will be a driven, fun passionate gamer who is a builder and a grower.
Duties
- Lead a small team to manage and maintain production schedule and hit strict deadlines for content such as live shows, talk shows, street interviews, interviews and informationals along with gaming WTF montages, highlights and news collection videos.
- Communicate directly with other social video leads in Taiwan, Vietnam and Hong Kong to facilitate video sharing across networks for localization.
- Work closely with GB CEO in developing video themes and series. You will need their help and they will need yours.
- Drive video ideation in close collaboration with in-house editorial staff and the gamers who really know their stuff.
- Create video specifically for Youtube, Facebook, Twitch.
- Work with the social media lead, CEO and EXP.GG Chief Content Officer on video analytics testing process and be adaptable and flexible.
Requirements
- At least 2-5 years professional experience either in media or the gaming industry.
- Must have experience producing video specifically for social media. If you’re a former TV producer, this might not be the role for you unless you understand the difference between creating content for Facebook, Youtube, TV and different distribution channels.
- Project management experience (you should know Trello and be able to work an Excel sheet)
- A passion and knowledge for gaming and eSports (very important)
- Must have lead at least a small team of between two to 10 people.
- Experience in Adobe suite of video editing tools (specifically Premiere)
- A hands-on approach and able to shoot and edit video him/herself.
- Ability to travel regionally to Hong Kong, Taiwan, Vietnam and more locations as we grow and expand our network.
- Must have strong functional English and fluency in Indonesian. Other language skills a bonus.
