Usai sukses dengan game horor sinematik mereka Until Dawn, Supermassive Games umumkan Man of Medan beberapa bulan silam. Game ini akan menjadi game pertama dari seri antologi “The Dark Pictures” yang direncanakan terdiri dari 8 game. Berbeda dengan game mereka sebelumnya, Man of Medan takkan jadi eksklusif PS4 tetapi juga dirilis di Xbox One dan juga PC.
